Radon monitor provides a digital readout of the levels on an easy-to-read screen. The device displays the average radon level over the last 24 hours, 7 days and 365 days.

Accurate readings are produced after 24 hours of operation, and there is a reset button that can be used should you wish to move the device to a different room or property and restart the monitoring.

The slim, lightweight design coupled with the rechargeable lithium battery operation enables the device to be placed wherever it is required with no cables needed. 

Ideal for use in homes or workplaces, the radon monitor is an affordable way of monitoring radon levels to ensure a healthy environment.

 

1.  Indicator for battery level. The batteries need to be recharged when it indicate low battery.

2. ‘LONG TERM AVERAGE’ long term average measurement mode.

3. ‘SHORT TERM AVERAGE’, short term average measurement mode.

4.  Measurement period for short term average. Alternates between 1 and 7 days.

5. ‘RUN’ indicator for measurement. The unit is active when this is flashing. It indicate “STOP” when unit is stop and indicate”ERROR” when unit is failed.

6. ‘power’ button for resetting and turn on/off THE UNIT.

 

-Press the button continuously for 3 times when a new measurement period starts. Deletes all stored data from earlier measurement.

-Keep pressing button for more than 6 seconds to turn on the unit… Also you can press button for more than 6 seconds to turn off the unit

 

7. The coefficient of injury +1 when short term average increase each 25BQ/M3, total 10, it mean Max measurement range will be 250BQ/M3.

And the ‘WARNING’ indicator will flash when more than 5 (100bq/m3), also the flash frequency become more and more fast with the increasing coefficient of injury.

Safety

 

Contact the seller if the product requires service or repairs. The front or back cover must not be opened.

Avoid subjecting the unit to stock, impact, pressure, vibra-tions, dust and moisture. The unit must not be exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods.

The unit must be stored under dry conditions, if possible together with a desiccant such as silica gel. The battery is rechargeable lithium battery which must not be exposed to fire or other extreme heat.

 

Getting started

 

– Press the button on the back cover for 5 seconds, measurement will start automatically this is indicated by a flashing measurement indicator ’RUN’ at the top left of the screen.

– If the screen displays the error message ‘Err’, press the RESET button on the back cover to restart.

– Position the unit in a living are (for example a bedroom or living room), and in a location that is representative of the air that is breathed in this room.

– The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight or electromagnetic radiation; it should be positioned lying flat at least 150cm from the nearest door, window or ventilation device.

– To permit self-calibration, the unit should remain untouched for the first few minutes after start-up.
